Tyler Manion

Tyler Manion anchors The News at 5 and 5:30 during the week. He started at WTOC in 2021 after graduating from Arizona State University and loves living in Savannah. 4t6i64

The Northeast native started at WTOC as a reporter and first moved into an anchor role in early 2023, taking to the desk on Saturday and Sunday mornings for The News at Daybreak alongside Ron Wallace. In early 2024 he moved to anchoring during the week alongside Madeline Hunt and still reports on communities like Hilton Head, Pooler, and Hampton County.

In his time at WTOC Tyler has covered a handful of tropical systems out in the elements, led our coverage of stories involving the Murdaugh family - including the double murder trial - and brought a spotlight to community events like the Beaufort Water Festival or Hampton County Watermelon Festival.

When not at work Tyler enjoys spending time at our area beaches, including Hilton Head and Tybee Island. You can also find Tyler eating at local restaurants or rooftop bars in downtown Savannah on a day off. Feel free to send him any recommendations of your favorite spots at [email protected]!
