Brittanye Blake

Brittanye Blake is the multimedia journalist for WALB News 10's Valdosta Bureau. She's been with WALB since August 2023. In May 2019, she graduated from Valdosta State University with a B.F.A. in Mass Media with a Broadcasting focus. In December 2020, Brittanye graduated from the University of South Florida with an M.A. in Digital Journalism. 4g6s3e

As a born and raised Valdosta native, Brittanye is proud to share stories about the community she loves. Before ing the WALB team, she was a reporter at the Valdosta Daily Times.

While at The Times, Brittanye was able to make connections with the community through solution-based reporting with a community focus on education. She gained experience in writing, reporting, graphics, and digital content. At Valdosta State, Brittanye gained knowledge and hands-on learning about broadcast reporting including camera work, directing/technical directing, editing, graphics and audio.

In her free time, she enjoys going on vacation, coloring, and spending time with family and friends.

Brittanye is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
