Kickoff windows for South Carolina football released

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - South Carolina’s football schedule was put further into focus on Wednesday.

The Southeastern Conference announced “game-time windows” for the 2025 season. While specific kickoff times for some matchups weren’t announced, they were instead given a designated window:

The Gamecocks’ September matchups at Missouri, at home against Kentucky and another game against LSU were given the “FLEX” distinction - meaning the start time could be between 3:30-4:30 p.m. or from 6-8 p.m.

The Oct. 25 home game against Alabama and a Nov. 1 road game against Texas A&M were also designated as “FLEX” games.

Meanwhile, the Oct. 18 home game against Oklahoma and a Nov. 15 game were put into the “Early” category - meaning the start time could be between noon and 1 p.m. The Gamecocks’ home game against Coastal Carolina was put into an “Afternoon” slot, meaning it could kick off between 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Nov. 22.

South Carolina’s rivalry game against Clemson was also given a noon kickoff at Williams-Brice Stadium on Nov. 29.

The Gamecocks begin the 2025 season in Atlanta against Virginia Tech at 3 p.m.
