Multiple trees downed by storm across McCormick County

McCORMICK, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - There are multiple reports of trees down in McCormick County due to severe weather Monday evening.

Burke County sheriff targets a key critic for arrest

Embroiled in a yearslong budget battle with county commissioners, Burke County Sheriff Alfonzo Williams now wants to arrest them.

According to McCormick County dispatchers, there were trees down at the intersection of U.S. 221 and Eden Hall Road.

McCormick County officials also reported trees down along Highway 28 North.
