Dozens stage protest in front of ICE field office in Georgia
ATLANTA, Ga. - Dozens of protesters gathered to rally outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office in Atlanta on Monday.
“The only way we’re going to get change, the only way we’re going to get answers, the only way we’re going to see difference is to unite as one,” said Shaekia Calhoun with the Union of Southern Service Workers.
The rally started Monday afternoon at the downtown office and wrapped up by 4 p.m.

Ga. GOP tries to block Raffensperger from running as a Republican
Georgia’s Republican Party says Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger should not be able to run under the party’s banner anymore, but the party’s chairman says the attempt to kick out the state’s chief election official is going nowhere.

The rally comes following Sunday’s protests in Los Angeles.
The Associated Press reported the Sunday protests escalated as thousands took to the streets in response to President Donald Trump’s extraordinary deployment of the National Guard, blocking off a major freeway and setting self-driving cars on fire as law enforcement used tear gas, rubber bullets and flash bangs to control the crowd.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom said he planned to file a lawsuit Monday against Trump in response to the National Guard deployment.
