Harris campaign partnering with Gen Z voter summit in Georgia
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The newly christened Harris for President campaign is now an official partner of a Gen Z voters’ forum this weekend in Atlanta.
On Monday, and in the middle of an unforgettable 48 hours in American political history, Voters of Tomorrow announced not only Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign but also the Democratic National Committee are partners in the Gen Z-led summit this Friday and Saturday.
“We could not have picked a better week to host our third-annual summit,” said Santiago Mayer, Voters of Tomorrow’s executive director. “We are grateful for the Harris campaign and the Democratic Party for helping make our event, which comes at a pivotal moment for Gen Z voters, possible. This is another sign Vice President Harris will center young people in her campaign.”
Late Monday night, an Associated Press survey showed Harris has secured the of enough Democratic delegates to become her party’s nominee against Republican Donald Trump, as top Democrats rallied to her in the aftermath of President Joe Biden’s decision to drop his bid for reelection.

The theme of this year’s summit is “Year of Youth,” highlighting the role Gen Z voters could play in the 2024 elections. Speakers will address abortion rights in the South, running as a Gen Z candidate, voter suppression, labor organizing and campaign strategy.
