80-year-old with dementia previously missing found dead on Hunter Street

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A previously missing 80-year-old man with dementia was found dead on Hunter Street Thursday night, according to officials.
The Coroner’s Office confirms they responded to the 1600 block of Hunter Street yesterday around 7:45 p.m. in reference to a deceased person being found that was reported missing on April 15.
Roy Jones, from the 800 block of Spruce Street was pronounced dead on the scene at 8:45 p.m.
No foul play suspected, according to authorities.
