Suspect caught after midtown Atlanta shooting spree

ATLANTA - A woman shot and killed two people and wounded a third Monday at two different locations in Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood and was later taken into custody at the city’s airport, police said.
Police responded to a person shot call at 1280 W. Peachtree Street around 1:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they found two people who appeared to have been shot. One was pronounced deceased at the scene and another was transported to a hospital for treatment.
While at that scene, they received another call about a shooting at 1100 Peachtree St. Upon arrival, they discovered one person who appeared to have been shot. That person was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police say the suspect was taken into custody at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. A photo of the woman believed to be the shooter was tweeted by a enger who had just arrived at the airport.
During a news conference, police said it appears the shooter targeted all three victims.
Police also said that engers at Atlanta’s airport were never in danger and security was never compromised.
Police also recovered the gun they believe was used in the triple shooting.
